Biosprint® is an active dry yeast authorized by the European Union for dairy cows, beef cattle, sows, piglets and horses feeding. In ruminants Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast strain promotes the fermentation processes, adapting the rumen environment to the needs of the bacterial flora responsible of fiber digestion. In the rumen, conditioned by the Biosprint® action, the bacteria producers of lactic acid don't find the proper condition to grow, therefore the pH is maintained at higher levels, reducing the risk of acidosis. In monogastric animals Biosprint® affects the intestinal environment, creating the ideal conditions for the growth of a bacterial flora perfectly suitable to an excellent feed digestion. Furthermore, to make the digestive process more efficient, additional protective barriers to the colonization of pathogenic bacteria are raised.
